His season was a success across the board, with the topper of course “Black Kato” who shone 4x in the national races and became 3rd best young bird in our country in the heavy middle distance over 4 races and 4th National Ace pigeon heavy middle distance youngsters. KBDB 2022 over 3 flights. In addition there was of course “Zoë” (direct Jos Thone) who won 1st Provincial Argenton against 3,065 youngsters (13th National 22,869 youngsters) and so much more. In the club Sans Peur Herent he won the 4 first ace pigeons in the middle distance with the yearlings and his 3 pigeons from these 4 full sisters of each other. They are all children of “Magic Dries” Kobe and Kato Herbots coupled to super hen “Grey Beauty” Jos Thone. 2 children from this pairing are in the auction together with the other topper and provincial winner “Zoe”.

The breeding loft consists mainly of the pigeons of Jos Thone, Roger Debusschere and Kobe & Kato Herbots. Dirk himself tries to be very strict when a pigeon moves to the breeding loft and thus raises the bar higher and higher every year.
