Fabulous start Eijerkamp racing lofts in 2022 1-7-9-10 NPO La Ferte St. Aubin (575 km) - 6,865 pigeons 1-2 Prov. Morlincourt (359 km) - 17,024 pigeons

The Eijerkamp lofts in Brummen are having another top season so far. To date, 4 regional victories, a provincial win and now last Saturday another apotheose by winning the 1st NPO against 6,865 pigeons from La Ferte St. Aubin (574 km). A superb start of the season for Team Eijerkamp of course. Team Eijerkamp is racing successfully with 2 different teams from the Greenfield Stud in Brummen, Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp as well as Lotte Eijerkamp. In the previous years they were already one of the strongest lofts in Holland which now again showed their class in this first One-Day long-distance race in the 2022 season in which they score 45 prize cards from the 56 pigeons basketed with 4 pigeons in the top 10 NPO. 

‘Emiko’ winner 1. NPO La Ferte St. Aubin - 6,865 pigeons

The race was a tough race and the 6,865 pigeons were liberated at 07.00 hrs. in La Ferte Saint Aubin with a light northeastern wind. The winner, NL20-1248314 ‘Emiko’, was clocked at 14.53.06 making a speed of 1,213 m.p.m. She was entered 1st nominated pigeon while she already had set a very good record last year already winning a.o. 4th NPO and 9th National Vierzon against 8,309 pigeons. This season she won 4 prize cards so far, 2 weeks ago, she won 40th Provincial Morlincourt (359 km) against 20,278 pigeons. She was coupled early February and after she raised some youngsters, she was placed on the widowhood system. 

Father: NL13-1445397 ‘Broer Lady Di’, a super breeder who until now already bred 3x 1. NPO winner as he also is father to ‘New Ché’, winner of 1. NPO Chateauroux and 1. NPO Argenton. ‘Broer Lady Di’ is the 4th generation of the legendary ‘Ché’ who was winner of 1. NPO Orleans against 14,285 pigeons and who became one of the base breeders at the Eijerkamp lofts. ‘Broer Lady Di’ was bought in the loft of Herman Hendrix from Broekhuizervorst and he is full brother to ‘Lady Di’ who was herself 2nd Nat. Ace pigeon NPO in the One-Day long distance in the Netherlands.

Mother” NL16-1254249 ‘Eternity’, a superb racing hen herself that won already 8th National Melun against 10,654 pigeons as youngster. As yearling she won again a lot of good results making her 13. Nat. Ace pigeon All-round with De Allerbeste. In breeding she already succeeded as a son was proclaimed 10th Nat. Ace youngster in the Middle Distance as well as her granddaughter ‘Blizzard’ won in 2021 the 1st NPO Vierzon (616 km) against 3,993 pigeons. ‘Eternity’ is bred from the superb Janssen – van Loon lines In the Eijerkamp which we also saw in the pedigree for ‘Ché’. These Janssen X Van Loon are top pigeons for distances from 100 – 700 km and now 3 years in a row the Eijerkamp lofts won 1st NPO in the One-day long distance with these golden lines. 

‘Kai Mook’, winner 1. Prov. Morlincourt 17,024 pigeons

Another apotheose with Morlincourt provincial in which Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp won 1st and 2nd provincial against 17,024 pigeons. This provincial race was held the week before the 1st NPO victory, so two great wins in 2 weeks of racing. The winner of this provincial race is a true super hen who now already won 3x 1st prize in big competition. She is bred by Andre and Bert Leideman from their top pair ‘Son Crack 19’ X ‘Sister Goed Grijs’. A full sister to ‘Kai Mook’ is ‘Claire’, who also won 3x 1st prize in big competition at the loft of the Leideman Bros.

The 2nd Provincial winner is ‘Octavia’ who already won 1st Tienen against 2,438 pigeons in the 2021 season. She is daughter of ‘Luka Modric’ who was the revelation in the 2018 season in which he won 2x 1st prize and was crowned 1st National Ace pigeon with the youngsters. Mother to ‘Ocatvia’ is ‘Lady Hawk’, a daughter of ‘Murphy’s Law’ of Willem de Bruijn.

‘Naomi’, winner 1. Morlincourt - 4,975 pigeons

The victory was achieved by a real top hen, as ‘Naomi’ now won her second victory in big list. This also was now 5x 1:1000 which is exceptional of course. The genes for winning also floating in here veins as she is daughter of ‘Turbo Rossi’, a superb Heremans cock who won himself 5x 1st prize and who in meantime is father, grand- and great-grandfather of many winners and ace pigeons. Mother to ‘Naomi’ is super breeding hen ‘Uniek’ who is daughter of the legendary pair ‘Barend J’ (Koopman x Janssen) x ‘Aniek’, granddaughter of ‘Euro’.

After this super result the chip ring was taken off as ‘Naomi’ has been transferred now into the breeding lofts in Brummen.

‘Marble’, winner 1. Bierges - 5,258 pigeons

As youngster she won 8 prizes out of the 9 races in which ‘Marble’ was entered and now as yearling she won immediately the win in this short distance race against over 5,000 pigeons.

She is bred from ‘Germiny Jr’, son of the great champion ‘Germiny’ of Dolf and Ruud Bakker from Zoelen, while mother ‘Shine’, is a superb Van Loon breeding hen, inbred to the legendary ‘Don Leo’/
