Next to that there are the descendants of Deno-Herbots, like the Clyde (1/2 Brother 1 NAT Cahors) Christianne, a brother and sister of the famous Yvan, Herbots Gebr. ( 1 + 4 Nat As KBDB) and then the line of the Rudy, G VdAbeele - the direct children of the famous " Harry " of Jan Hooymans, and the family of the famous " As " of Marcel Wouters. They never sit still and every year there are investments. But even more important the TOPPERS are always kept. They always go to the breeding loft and take care of top offspring.

The breeders are housed by Thierry Aerts, he takes care of the care and together with Hadiren the breeding strategies are determined. The 15 most important breeding cocks are placed in boxes and when they are coupled for the first time, they get a new hen every year. Afterwards they get a pigeon with which they have already produced good offspring. In practice, every cock gets three to four different hens per year. Therefore, they have a large number of breeding pairs, so everything can run smoothly. It is working with dates and layers, but at the Aerts loft one can fully apply oneself to this. Because the breeders are elsewhere, Hadrien has all the time and possibilities to fully concentrate on the racers.

Feeding and care system
They choose for the Beyers range and the pigeons are traditionally fed. When they arrive back home, they get a good energy mixture and afterwards a diet mixture, depending on the toughness of the race, the next race and the weather conditions. In addition, they regularly consult the Schroeder vet and they also follow his programme and use the support products, vitamins and condition powders.

Important elements in pigeon sport.
For Hadrien, besides quality and a good pigeon, the loft and the fancier are very important. They have three departments, two for the cocks and one for the hens. For these three departments they have one sputnik, which hangs on rails and can be moved. Sometimes a change of loft can do wonders, it ensures that the pigeons like to sit on their own place, their own territory, it doesn't always have to be their own nest box. Also an extra seat, an own corner, it's all important and gives the motivation to be home sooner. It is up to the fancier to notice all this, to observe it well and if necessary to act upon it.

The youngsters.
One of the problems here is that they live close to the French border (about 45 km) - regularly there are releases in the neighbourhood or individual training flights of fanciers who live further away. Therefore, the youngsters are released out of necessity in small groups. In this way we try to reduce the losses, it happens every year that a group of youngsters in their enthusiasm fly along with a release but they don't have the necessary development to get home afterwards. Every year they have about 120 youngsters, they are darkened, but for the season 2022 they will try to play a group of about 60 youngsters through the lightening system. The various systems must be feasible. The youngsters are brought away once a week for a training flight of 45 kilometres during the whole playing season.
