Hok Sapin from Incourt maintains its high level of National Ace pigeons and Olympiad pigeons

When we drive towards Incourt in Wallonia, we already know what time it is, we are going to visit sprint virtuoso Denis Sapin. He has been playing at the highest level for more than 20 years, but the level has risen enormously in recent years. Year after year he succeeds in breeding Ace pigeons and placing himself among the best in the sprint at national level. Many of these pigeons are due to the “Gouden Koppel”, but the breeding loft is also of a very high level. In addition, his pigeons are not only fast, but they can also compete with the other pigeons in national races of 500 km. Class at speed and participating with the same kind of pigeons over 500km is something few of us are given.
Now in recent years it quickly becomes apparent that the proven top racers such as “Romeo”, “Antoine” , “Samuel”, “Morgane”, … all prove themselves in the breeding loft. It may weaken the racing team for a while if you take such toppers away year after year, but the breeding loft in turn becomes younger. The old breeders such as “Max”, “Gust” and “Johnny” were the best of the best 5 years ago.

The Golden Couple
A few years ago (2013) you couldn’t beat top hens ‘Venus’, ‘Maria’ and ‘Serena’. They won on a weekly base first prizes one after the other. Two years later ‘Icha’ was born, this classful hen became 1st Olympiad bird Cat. G Brussels 2017 and also in 2015 ‘Samuel’ was born. He crowned himself later as 9th Olympiad bird Cat. A 2019 and 10th National Ace bird Short Distance old KBDB 2018. In the meantime ‘Venus’ became mother to two super hens namely ‘Eva’ and ‘Morgane’ who raced especially well on the greater middle distance races and ‘Serena’ became mother to ‘Victor’. The topper with 3 national ace bird titles in 2018-2019 and 2020. The last top pigeon at the Sapin loft became ‘Romeo’ who won the title of 1st National Ace bird Short Distance KBDB 2020. An unique couple that you find seldomly and on top of that give their good genes to children of them.
