Granddaughter Nieuwe Olympiade winning 1. National Liberec at Ferenc Pinter – Gyal (Hungary)
The national Hungarian liberation in Liberec, a town in the north of Czech Republic, took place July 24th early morning 05.45 hrs. in which 2,105 pigeons were released. With a strong wind on the nose and high temperatures the pigeons flew in south west direction towards Hungary and in the convoy also the chequer hen HU-2020-D-532115 which was entered by Ferenc Pinter from Gyal, a small place in the outskirts of Budapest.

The pigeons had to fight and concur the difficult weather conditions so the race became a true selection in which only the best pigeons could win. The winning pigeon was clocked at 12.33.43 hrs. after flying 486 km. The speed for the National winner HU20-D-532115 was 1,189 m.p.m. and this was sufficient to beat all pigeons in this National race in Hungary.
The HU20-D-532115 was bred from "Lady Olympiade", NL15-1897858, a direct daughter of the Nieuwe Olympiade which Ferenc bought at the Eijerkamp lofts in October 2015 when she just was 6 weeks of age. The mother for the "Lady Olympiade" isCarmen, a pure Eijerkamp-Janssenwho also is mother to the super henHonda. Hondawas a top racing hen before she went into the breeding lofts in which she bred a.o."Luka Modric", who became 1st National Ace pigeon with the Young birds in 4 competitions in 2018. Father to this hen as said is the Nieuwe Olympiade who is now already living legend as the descendants just performing outstanding worldwide.

Georgios & Dimitrios Kalamaris – Piraeus winning 2. and 37. Final As Golden Pigeon Race OLR – Greece bred out of a granddaughter Nieuwe Olympiade
The final for the As Golden Pigeon final race in Greece took place in August in one of the hottest months in Greece in which pigeons need to concur these temperatures. The lofts for this One Loft Race standing near Thessaloniki and the 1,649 pigeons entered started their training in the middle of June.
Because of the very hot temperatures the organizers decided to reduce the distance for the final to 330 km in order to give the pigeons all good changes for a good and honest final race. The pigeons were liberated early morning at 06.45 hrs. with a headwind and around 11.30 hrs. the first two pigeons arrived at the lofts and the winner, brothers.

Just beaten by 13 seconds, the "FCI 112" was winner of the 2nd in this tough Final race for Georgios and Dimitrios Kalamaris from Piraeus who are started in specializing themselves in these OLR races a few years ago and who now already achieved some very good results in this modern facet of the pigeon sport. The "FCI 112" is 50% Eijerkamp pigeon, as Dimitrios bought the mother "Emelisa", NL20-1248525, in the webshop of Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp. "Emilisa" is a pure Heremans-Ceusters hen, bred from Diamond Euro, son for Euro X Kadootje, paired to Maxima, a direct daughter to the Nieuwe Olympiade x Summerset.
From the same couple they also sent the GR21-0000263 to the race and this pigeon finished 37th Final against the 623 remaining competitors basketed.
Klutsch Bros - Dinslaken winning 1. Gelnhausen - 3,162 pigeons bred from grandson Nieuwe Olympiade
Andre and Tobias Klutsch are young fanatic fanciers from Dinslaken (Germany) who only have one dream, they want to become one of the best fanciers in the Ruhrgebied as well as from Germany. To achieve this, they set themselves some goals and one of them now achieved as they won 1. Gelnhausen in their racing area against 3,162 pigeons with a young cock bred out of a grandson of the Nieuwe Olympiade and Golden Grizzle, which they bought online from the Eijerkamp webshop. They won 1st prize, 1233 m.p.m., with a lead of 1½ minutes on another pigeon from their own loft.

Norbert Stolorz from Recklinghausen (Germany) won 1st Butzbach (162 km) 2,503 pigeons with offspring Nieuwe Olympiade. The winning pigeon is DV02341-21-0083 bred from NL19-1412317, grandson of the Nieuwe Olympiade. This pigeon was bred at the Greenfield Stud from a son of Golden Grizzle, winning 9x 1st prize, when paired to a direct daughter of the legendary Nieuwe Olympiade.
