Van Avondt Danny & Nick (Wespelaar) 1st Provincial Vierzon 785 yearling

Every year the first inter-provincial flight from the French release place Vierzon is played. Not an unimportant race because here one can already test how it stands against the competition. For father-son combination Van Avondt Danny & Nick from Wespelaar this race starts to have a special meaning because last year their hen ‘B23-2002411’ won the 1st prize provincial against 638 yearling birds and this year Danny & Nick can again nail the provincial victory to the proverbial ceiling because now their hen ‘Xenia’ (named after the girlfriend of son Niels) won the first prize provincial against 785 yearling birds. With an average speed of 1,181.86 m/m, she beat the yearlings of De Bisschap G. & J. (Asse - 1,180.60 m/m) and Willems A. & E. (Attenhoven - 1,179.31 m/m). On the interprovincial result we find her ring number behind place 5 and this against 4,728 yearling birds. 

‘Xenia’ is a real winner as the provincial win was already her 4th win of her young career. Previously she already won

1st Soissons 383 yearling (19/04/25)
and now 1st Prov. Vierzon 785 yearling

That the condition of the Van Avondt racing team is more than fine is proven by the results of the last few weeks.
