Gebr. Homma (Steggerda-NL)

The Homma brothers (Ydo & Elco) form a young and exceptionally strong tandem who capitalize on their shared passion for pigeon racing with consistently top-class performances. For years, they have been among the absolute best in the Netherlands and have become an integral part of the national pigeon racing scene. 

The colony was founded with pigeons from Arie Dijkstra. In 2008, a brother and a son of the world-famous “Okidoki” were purchased there. One of these cocks, better known as “Maldini,” grew into a true patriarch of the loft. In the years that followed, the stock was selectively strengthened with pigeons from 

H.&E.J. Eijerkamp, C. & G. Koopman, Marco Zandvoort, and Arnold Paalman (Eijerkamp-Paalman), with the influential lines of Leo Heremans and the Van den Brande Brothers in particular providing a new boost and notable successes.
