David Vermassen from Gavere is a real All Round top colony at National level

The top colony of David Vermassen from Gavere in East Flanders, run by mother Nadine and Dennis Annaert, has no secrets. Year after year they are among the best colonies nationally and this was also the case this season. They competed both with the youngsters in the middle distance and with the old ones in the heavy middle distance and they also performed well in the long distance, which is the signal that these pigeons also like the harder work. Their top hen “Olga”, which is already from 2021 but flew fantastically in 2024, also has an impressive track record. She is therefore the showpiece of this auction. She is also a great-granddaughter of founding father “Black Hawk” who remains the common thread of this colony.
