Dimitri Deneys de Liedekerke triumphs in Châteauroux: 1st, 2nd and 3rd provincial places!

Liedekerke - At the last national flight of the season, Dimitri and Ivan Deneys de Liedekerke put in a fine performance to take 1st, 2nd and 3rd provincial places at the Châteauroux flight. Faced with 323 yearlings and old pigeons, he managed to secure this unique victory. At national level, this performance translated into 6th, 8th and 10th places in a field of 1,723 pigeons. An impressive end to the season.

Miss 432

First place went to 'Miss 432', a pigeon who has repeatedly shown that she is one of the best this season. Earlier, she took 2nd place locally in Sancoins against 373 pigeons and finished 233rd nationally against no fewer than 12,958 pigeons. Last week, she took first place in Sermaises, both locally and nationally in the Pajotse Halve Fond. This time around, Miss 432 travelled to Châteauroux on a nest of youngsters of 7 to 10 days old, and once again proved her class by taking victory.

Triple 8 and Speedy 427: Almost as fast

Dimitri's pigeon "Triple 8" managed to take 2nd provincial prize and 8th place nationally, while "Speedy 427" took 3rd provincial prize and 10th place nationally. With these three top pigeons, Dimitri Deneys has clearly shown that he has a lot of quality in his loft.

Previous achievements : A harbinger of success

Dimitri's pigeons had already shown that they were in top form in recent weeks, with good performances on other flights such as Argenton, Sermaises and Noyon. For example, on 8 September, he took 1st, 2nd and 5th place locally at Argenton, and also took several podium places at Sermaises and Noyon.

A story of good karma

A nice detail to mention: in May this year, Dimitri and his father Ivan caught one of our stray pigeons, called us and we went to retrieve it. This kind gesture was much appreciated, and it is perhaps a form of good karma that has enabled them to achieve these wonderful results.
