For those who know this colony know that Geert Van Roy due to his work has little time to keep busy with his pigeons. That’s why he choose to specialize on young cocks and race these only as youngster and to focus on the National races. 2020 was a testing year but when you can show these kind of results in your starting year you are heading for the right way. We know that Geert has especially his own kind with the “Zwarte Olympiade” that bred until now 16 different 1st prize winners. Also in 2020 a new alliance came with his brother Koen. The young cocks out of the best breeders from Koen went direction Geert and are being tested out extensively. The ideal combination to test on two lofts makes that you know quicker what the pigeons are worth. 

They only look at pigeons that raced at least per 10, prizes per 3 aren’t being noted down or aren’t looked at.

The “BE 11-2051340” Zwarte Olympiade won himself 7x 1st prize in his career and won on top of that 1st Olympiad bird Nitra 2013. This top pigeons was kept and being placed on the breeding loft. Over 3 – 4 – 5 generations they breed winners out of it and until now he bred 16 different 1st prize winners..
