Gert And Frans Rondags from Spouwen - sensational class on short distance and middle distance

Those who followed the Rondags colony in 2018 would have maybe hoped they'ld do worse in 2019. The youngsters came home like a train and if these youngsters would do that again the year after it would be amazing. But it became so much more, Frans & Gert won 4 National Ace birds on the short distance with always a 2nd place with the old and yearling birds. The problem sometimes when having so many good ones is that it might be that the ace bird maybe gets in as 3rd on the loft which makes a huge difference. But even then they were farout the best colony on the short distance races and showed themselves the entire year trough. This resulted in becoming the 1st Provincial Champion KBDB Limburg and in December the result came that they would also win the most wanted title of the 'Gouden Duif' together with the title of 'Superstart Short Distance' within the same competition. Really unique which was the real icing on the cake. 

Off course they want to be in at the same level next year and the youngsters did especially well on the middle distance and greater middle distance in 2019 which makes the season of 2020 one to look forward. 

We are truly very proud that we can offer 10 pigeons out of their breeders in an online action that will end on Monday 24/02/2020 on our website. 

The rating of these pigeons were extremely high which confirms the quality of this loft.

Strain

When we go back into the past there were top pigeons like  “BE 04-5136212” Tom with 16 pure 1st prizes and  “BE 05-5076817” Lewis  with 9 pure 1st prizes and were the flag barers from the colony of father Laurent who raced at that time together with Frans. Now anno 2020 these two base pigeons are still to be found in almost every one of the best pigeons of the current colony. 

Both pigeons were offspring of “De Bom” who won himself also 11 pure 1st prizes. Winners out of winners, this is how the story continues over here. 

Now on the current breeding loft “Lewis” and “Tom” couldn't be taken out anymore and were being crossed in with pigeons from Paul Huls ( Olympiad strain, Kannibolleke is strain Kannibaal Dirk Van Dijck ) and Leo Heremans. This last one was a hit in the ros. A daughter to “Tom” is BE 08-5169581, she was being coupled against “Bolt” BE 12-6123198 from Leo Heremans who became 1st National Ace bird Short Distance KBDB 2012 at Paul Huls. Out of this coupling you have “Mister Bolt” BE 12-5164535 who is the new golden vein within this colony.

One that has been a true top breeder the past few years is  “BE 09-5118165” Den 165. This was the best youngster from Paul Huls in 2009 and is inbred Figo 1st National Bourges Reynaert. This blood strain was then again crossed in with “Tom” and again bulls' eye.

For the 1st time a child out of this super couple will be offered in an auction. We auction of a brother to  “Nafi” 1st National  Ace bird youngsters KBDB 2018 and a brother “Zus Nafi” with 3 x 1st prize.

A wonderful hen with as father a top racer, who moved after the season of 2016 tot the breeding loft and in the meantime father is to different top pigeons who raced all together already 16 x per 100. 

Father is “Super 603” who only raced in 2016 but became 1st National Ace bird Youth KBDB. He is a full brother to “Nina” and “Boela” 2 + 5 Nat Ace bird KBDB Short distance old 2019.
Again a grandson to “Bolt” from Leo Heremans  who became 1st National Ace bird Short distance KBDB 2012. This cock is an inbred to “Tom” with 16x 1st

Mother is “Kleine Mees” from W.B.De Kruijf. 
She is a full sister to the 2nd Olympiad pigeon All Round Holland in 2019

Frans also has an eye for top pigeons on other lofts, like for example the  “De Kleine”  from Edmond Konings,  this pigeon raced 14 pure 1st prizes and has become in the meantime a super breeder on the loft of  Frans & Gert. 

In 2019 there were out of the  “De Kleine” 2 wonder racers namely  669 and 670 race together no less than 27 x per 100 or 16 x TOP 10 against at least 1,000 pigeons average. Those who want to get something out of  “De Kleine” has to take its chances right now.

That they don't only perform strong on the short distance races is something we already mentionned before. These 2 hens are out of a coupling like that, brother and sister to “BE 19-5098766” that won in 2019 4 x 1st prize on the middle distance races which is extra ordinary ans she became 16th National Ace bird Middle Distance youngsters KBDB . 

A new  top couple might have been born and we get a chance now to be able to get a brother and sister. 

Father is  “Zoon Snowwhite” who is 9th National Ace bird GMD KBDB crossed in to  “Zoon G Power” from Geert & Annick Van Renterghem.

Mother is “Dochter Rambo” who won 2nd National Argenton on the lofts in Spouwen coupled to a “Dochter Tom” with 16 x 1st
