Hoes Adri-Jan (Maaseik) wins 1st Provincial Barcelona against 894 old pigeons.

On Saturday, July 4, at 10:43:17 a.m., Adri-Jan Hoes achieved a remarkable victory by winning 1st Provincial Barcelona, fulfilling a long-cherished dream.

Despite his busy career as a music producer, Hoes has built an impressive reputation in long-distance pigeon racing over the past few years. His success is based on a carefully developed family of pigeons, incorporating the bloodlines of Albert Simons, Etienne Meirlaen, Erik Limbourg, and Jelle Jellema. Foundation pigeons such as Alberto, Primus, Marsha, Bowie, and Adriano have all made significant contributions to his current success.

The winning pigeon, "Barca King" (BE 5045130-23), is a son of Bowie, who is also the sire of the successful Adriano. During the arrivals in Maaseik, everyone eagerly awaited the results. When Barca King arrived, he secured 1st Provincial Barcelona. He also finished 22nd National against 5,945 old pigeons.

With this outstanding achievement, a lifelong dream came true for Adri-Jan Hoes and his father.
