Karlo Van Rompaey (Sint-Truiden) wins 1st Provincial Argenton 1,240 yearlings

On the national race from Argenton, Karlo Van Rompaey achieved the 1st Provincial Argenton for the province of Limburg against 1,240 yearlings. His yearling hen “Johanna” was already in good shape in 2025 and now showed her talent again. She is a pigeon that comes directly from the breeding loft of Mr. Xing (Kaier Europe) and has a great pedigree behind her name.

Karlo scored a total of 3 pigeons in the top 50 national and is building a new path with a new racing team that is mainly built up with pigeons from PEC and Kaier Europe. Also the old lines of “Hattrick” and “Prima Dora” both national winners on Bourges are kept here to build on

The racing team continues to fly on the chaos system and consisted of 8 old and 40 yearlings in April. The pigeons are not paired to each other in the beginning and Karlo hopes that new motivation will provide that extra incentive to reach a peak. If you have fixed pairs you will perform more consistently but here in my loft I prefer chaos and movement so that something different can happen every week. The pigeons have to be basketed every week but the national races remain the main goal of course. That is why motivation is not always applied at basketing, certainly in the run-up phase in April and middle distance flights in May I do not let them together before basketing, calmly in the basket and teach them that when they come home they can go together. Then I leave them together long enough to form couples and I separate them in the evening.

That is why this pigeon also became 1st Champion on Champions winner, 2nd Super Ace Pigeon winner and 3rd Grand Average winner.
