Ronny Menten (Rummen) wins 1st Provincial Bourges 3,024 young pigeons

In the national race from Bourges, Ronny Menten from Rummen in Brabant was crowned the winner for the province of Flemish Brabant. His young cock, "Rowen," was the fastest of 3,024 youngsters. This top-notch cock comes from the best lines of Gino Clicque, crossed with a hen from Albert Derwa. These are lines Ronny has been using for several years and with which he has been incredibly successful. Ronny also scored well in the previous national race from Bourges, with a two-year-old hen that won 3rd National Bourges against 5,261 old birds. He has already won 35 national top 100 placings in the extreme middle distance this season.

The youngsters are raced here using the sliding door system and, like most fanciers, are darkened and lightened. Sometimes they are released immediately and then brought together for an hour, but this time they were simply fed well at 4 p.m. for their last feeding, left together for an hour, and then taken away. The pigeons train here once a day, always in the morning. The week before Bourges, they all flew Soissons because we were not allowed to race anything else, so they were then sent on their national race.

All pigeons are fed Beyers mixtures, and during the racing season, they mainly use Galaxy Sport Light and Galaxy Energy. Ronny also uses Röhnfried products in combination with Herbovet products.
