Team Hooymans NL: 1st NPO La Ferté St. Aubin

Another big win (4th week in a row) by team Hooymans NL, Wijk en Aalburg. Now at the first NPO-race of the season from La Ferte St. Aubin (505km.) against 4.572 pigeons.

It was the chequered “New Harry” look-a-like NL22-8559765 who took the victory for Christian & Jan. He had a lead of 23mpm to nr.2!
On his career list we find amongst others:
10th NPO Chateauroux (610km with 1.240mpm)
11th NPO Melun derby der junioren (nestsister won 1st NPO)
19th NPO Saulieu
20th Afd. Niergnies
30th NPO Melun
34th NPO Gien
43th NPO Gray

The winner's father is a halfbrother of “Wout”, who won 2 times 1st National in Belgium.
Nice side note: My father Jo Herbots had the opportunity to personally select a top son of the much-discussed "Wout" (photo below) from Jan Hooymans, who is now active in the breeding lofts at Herbots.

Team Hooymans is ready for a promising season—with even more success likely to come.
