The Hendriks Jo & Florian birds prove their winning mentality on national race from Issoudun

Last weekend the national race from Issoudun was on the programme in the Netherlands. No less than 33,957 pigeons were basketed and national winner was the "173" of J. van Oosterbosch from Ossendrecht. When we analyse the Top-10, we see that 8 pigeons were clocked in the western part of the Netherlands, only 2 pigeons, who have their loft in the eastern part of the country,  didn't care about the wind and must have flown very hard from the start to score a top result against the force of nature. These 2 pigeons are "NL20-1703236" from H. Vluggen from Kerkrade which took the 6th place nationally and "Issoudun Harry" (NL20-1731553) from well-known champions Jo & Florian Hendriks with the 7th place nationally against 33,957 pigeons. Herewith these pigeons have more than proved that they have an exceptional winning mentality, otherwise you cannot put such unique performances on paper.

The apple never falls far from the tree and that is fully proven here once again. "Issoudun Harry" is a beautiful blue cock and is part of 19 strong widowhood team that Jo & Florian take care of. Previously "Issoudun Harry" had already shown his skills by winning the 32nd prov. Rethel against 12,840b.

The widowers were coupled between Christmas and New Year and were allowed to raise a pair of youngsters. They were separated in time and only came together for a few days when the first training tosses took place. The care system is just the same as the previous years and we know that the mixtures of Paloma and Beyers are used and that products of Röhnfried, Schroeder/Tollisan, Belgica De Weerd and Cest-pharma are put on the food or in the drinks. Before the season, the widower team was set free from tricho and respiratory infections and during the season, a 3-week schedule is followed, whereby one week something against tricho, the second week something against respiratory infections and the third week something against intestinal infections is given.
