Two Weeks, Two Wins: Gebr. Dekker brothers dominate Samenspel Midden Zeeland

On 10 May the flight from Melun (313 km) was on the programme. In the Samenspel Midden an impressive series was set against 2,755 pigeons:

1-4-9-10-22-29-46-60-72-108-120-166-167-174-216-218-230-269 etc. A total of 31 of the 45 pigeons deployed were played in the prizes.

Locally against 543 pigeons, the results were even more convincing:

1-3-4-5-6-7-11-17-19-31-34-47-48-50 etc. (29/45).

Despite a less favourable position due to the wind, a fine result was also recorded in Zeeland Division against no fewer than 8,675 pigeons:

37-62-98-100-161-219-299-352-413-529-564-733-734-746-865 etc. (30/45).

A week later on 17 May followed the flight from Toury (379 km). Once again a brilliant performance was achieved. In the Samenspel Midden victory was achieved again, this time against 1,995 pigeons:

1-3-6-7-11-13-30-31-45-62-75-90-133-150-153 etc. (29/45).

Locally against 326 pigeons, the party was complete:

1-2-3-4-5-7-11-12-17-25-26-30-38-42-43 etc. (26/45).

In Afdeling Zeeland it fell just short of victory, but a superb run still yielded a deserved ‘Poulidor’ title against 6,217 pigeons:

2-4-10-15-25-28-107-108-157-219-254-307-420-476-486 etc. (29/45).
