The Belgian Challenge – Project Pulderbos

However, what attracted the most attention from the international pigeon racing community was Team Eijerkamp's ambitious new challenge in Belgium, more specifically in Pulderbos. On 8 July 2025, thanks to their ability to act quickly and decisively, they succeeded in purchasing the house, racing lofts, pigeons and even the guard dog belonging to Antwerp pigeon racing legend André Roodhooft. It was a truly unique deal, and one that meant a great deal to the Eijerkamp family. After all, they had acquired a loft with an extraordinary history: six national victories, Olympiad pigeons, national championship titles and even a KBDB National Ace Pigeon title! An opportunity like this simply could not be missed. The management of "Project Pulderbos" was entrusted to Oliver Sabol, a man who has already proven beyond doubt in Brummen that pigeon racing is in his DNA. Oliver knows exactly how to guide a racing team to the very top of the results sheet. More importantly, he has mastered the art of maintaining outstanding performances at an exceptionally high level throughout an entire racing season. And what followed can only be described as a dream start!

In their very first season, Team Eijerkamp achieved no fewer than TWO FIRST NATIONAL VICTORIES! Just imagine… TWO 1st National victories in their very first season!
