Ace Pigeon of the Month June Herbots Championship 2026

The third month of the flying season was a special, tough one, and a week without flights forced us to make adjustments to the number of prizes. This made competing for the title more difficult. Below you can find all the winners and podiums in the various categories. We thank everyone for all the entries and congratulate the podium and the winners.

1st place De Bisschop Kris & Lieselotte (Essene) BE 25-2100111 – 0.29

What a top hen at the De Bisschop loft; it will be difficult to do much better in 3 weeks' time. She shines 3 times in a row in the middle distance. Even after a week of rest, she struck hard again in early July and won 1st place out of more than 3,000 pigeons in the middle distance.

This colony achieved top results in the middle distance, and two of their pigeons finished in second and third place here. Both pigeons were bred by Geert De Clercq. In the first week, “012” was just slightly better than “012”. On June 13th, they were clocked at the same second, hence both first places in the same result. The following week, it was 010’s turn, and he beat his loftmate. Impressive performances.

Ace pigeons young birds sprint

1st and 2nd place Aerts Jan (Puurs-Sint-Amands) BE 26-6145008 – 6.56 and BE 26-6145001 – 7.01

For the young pigeons, it was of course extremely difficult with such races in the month of June, but we do have a winner in Aerts Jan from Puurs-Sint-Amands. His young pigeons are the top 2 in the month of June.

Ace Pigeon Long Distance Old and Yearlings

1st place Vervloesem Patrick (Rijmenam) BE 23-6105811 0.43

Indeed, the gold goes to Rijmenam; his 3-year-old widower is the winner of Ace Pigeon of the Month on 2 races. He won 2nd Prov Limoges 942p and 4th Nat (z) Limoges 1,762p. He also won 38th Nat Tulle 3,726p and is a grandson of “Super Breeder 564”, with whom top results are achieved both here and at other locations in our pigeon country.

2nd place Bauters Jo (Gavere) BE 22-4046325 1.19

This top cock from the Jo Bauters colony won 102nd National Limoges 9,067p and 2nd National Cahors 3,156p. A powerhouse that you need in this very tough season to compete at the front of the races. The pedigree shows that he has a fantastic record and is a grandson of 1st National Aurillac 3,004p and “Salvatore” 1st National Limoges (fastest of 20,444p).
