Allemeersch Alex- Van Parys Corry (Ruddervoorde) Quality over quantity

This successful tandem consists of Alex Allemeersch and his wife Corry Van Parys. The name Allemeersch certainly does not sound unfamiliar in international pigeon racing because Alex is the son of pigeon fancier Andre Allemeersch from Pottes, so he is no stranger. Andre was one of the very best fanciers in Belgium on the heavy middle-distance races but sold his colony with the Herbots family due to health problems. It became a very successful sale as the value of the Allemeersch pigeons has been widely praised.
"Can you believe that I started with the pigeons without any ambition to give them on the races" Alex starts his story "Just give me a breeding loft and let me play with the "laws of Mendel". At the time, I then gave the youngsters to my father or friends to fully test them."
But after a while, Alex and Corry kept a group of youngsters for "their own use" and they were at the basketing table of one or another flight. The first years, they only raced youngsters, with the national races in fluor on the calendar. A few seasons later, they also raced yearlings and old birds and how! It becomes more and more clear every year ... nobody has to teach this tandem to play with pigeons. Whoever thought Alex and Corry were at their limits had to revise their opinion again this year. Great performances with few pigeons ... also in 2023 they delivered the proof!
The basis of the pigeons at Allemeersch-Van Parys are pigeons from Alex Uiterwijk Nl, Marcel Aelbrecht, Albert Derwa, Desaer Rudy, Meulemans-Desmet Matthijs, Andre Laurent, Casaert, Dierickx-Visschers and of course the well-known breeding lines of father Andre Allemeersch. Alex says "We also had a good hen from Freialdenhoven and son from which the line of "Julien", "Super 57", "Kletskop 38 "was born. Last years we also introduced "Son Provinciaalke" of David Vermassen with descendants like "Juliette", "501", "502", "279".
A hen from Peter Bours with offspring "Het Bruintje" and also a hen from A. Tobaja "TGV" with "Monique" as main daughter and a hen from Jan van de Moortel with offspring such as "227-21" and granddaughters "Kruisbekje" and "Slimbekje". The latter two turned out to be the new stars of our loft.
