Argentine Pigeon Federation 100th - OLR

The Argentine Pigeon Federation is celebrating its 100th anniversary and is organising a national and international OLR (One Loft Race). The entry fee is low (€50.00) and the prize money is reasonable (€22,000.00 for 1,000 young birds). The costs for quarantine and transport are to be borne by the participants. We would like to take this opportunity to invite pigeon fanciers from Belgium and the Netherlands to take part. Quarantine will take place in Belgium. 

The quarantine and shipping costs amount to approximately 170 euros (with a minimum of 40 pigeons). Shipping costs are high due to the mandatory quarantine. Participants must draw up and submit an invoice for a nominal amount of €10/15 per pigeon for customs procedures. 

The Argentine Federation is a very active organisation, with members regularly visiting Belgium and the Netherlands to tour lofts and purchase pigeons. It is therefore an interesting country to be known in. 

The target audience comprises fanciers with links to Argentine fanciers, fanciers seeking to establish links with Argentine fanciers or wishing to support the Argentine Federation and its fanciers, as well as those who regularly send pigeons to OLR. This would be the first edition of an international OLR race in Argentina.

They need the help of fanciers who can send young birds. Young birds can be delivered to me, accompanied by a pedigree, proof of ownership, proof of payment and the requested (pro forma) invoice. The entry fee, including transport and quarantine costs, is €220.00 per bird.  Please let us know in advance how many pigeons you wish to enter. The pigeons can be delivered on 19 and 20 July.
