Christiaens – De Smedt (Pamel) wins 1st Provincial Agen 448 old birds and best national Barcelona pigeon over 3 years

The demanding long-distance races follow one another weekly, and with consistently warm and severe conditions, the pigeons face grueling races even more than usual. At Agen, the top colony of Christiaens – De Smedt from Pamel clocked more than 4 very early pigeons and once again achieved a fine series. Their first pigeon was the top performer “Narbonne Master 1”, who became 5th National Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB in 2024. Their second old pigeon is “Narbonne Star”, who also won a top 20 national from Narbonne last year. A striking detail is that the first yearling and the second old pigeon are two descendants of “Barcelona Princes”. This hen was the best internationally at Barcelona over 3 years, and her child and grandchild are now shining at Agen National.

Speaking of Barcelona, ​​the ranking Dirk won back in 2021 is now being repeated 5 years later. For the time being, only at the national level; we still have to wait a bit for the international results, but in Belgium he has the best pigeon with his “Barcelona Master,” which was his first pigeon in both 2024 and 2025 and is now his 3rd arrival.
