Clicque Gino (Wevelgem) wins 1st Provincial Limoges against 1.414 old birds.

08 Jul 2026

Some weekends are simply unforgettable, and this past one will always hold a special place in our hearts.

On the family side, we celebrated one of life's most beautiful moments as our daughter, Laura, married the love of her life, Benoit. It was a day filled with happiness, emotion, and unforgettable memories shared with family and friends.

As if this wonderful occasion wasn't special enough, the racing season gave us another reason to celebrate. On the very same day, our loft achieved a remarkable victory by winning 1st Provincial Limoges against 1,414 old birds and recording the fastest arrival of all 3,223 provincial pigeons. Even more impressive, our winner clocked an incredible seven minutes ahead of the second pigeon and went on to finish 9th National Limoges against 6,972 birds.

A performance like this deserved a special tribute. Therefore, we proudly named our provincial winner after our new son-in-law:

Benoit – BE24-3059544

"Benoit" already boasts an outstanding racing record and represents one of our strongest breeding families. His brother, Flash, previously won 3rd National Limoges against 9,067 birds, once again confirming the exceptional class and consistency of this bloodline.

An Outstanding 2026 Season

The 2026 racing season has already brought exceptional success, highlighted by no fewer than seven Top 10 National results:

  • 3rd National Limoges – 9,067 birds
  • 5th National Bourges – 22,975 birds
  • 5th National Tulle – 5,936 birds
  • 7th National Bourges – 23,496 birds
  • 8th National Bourges – 23,496 birds
  • 9th National Limoges – 6,972 birds
  • 10th National Bourges – 22,975 birds

In addition, our team has already recorded 23 first prizes during the 2026 season, a reflection of the consistency and strength of our racing team.

Success Beyond Our Own Loft

One of the greatest satisfactions is seeing our breeding lines succeed in lofts across the country. Over the past two weeks alone, descendants of our pigeons have achieved several outstanding performances:

  • Valence (27 June): 1st National against 2,866 birds – Vandeputte Kubica with a grandchild from our Red Filip family.
  • Valence (27 June): 3rd National against 1,473 birds – Johny Destercq with an inbred Golden King.
  • Limoges (4 July): 6th National against 9,091 birds – François Michaux with a grandchild of Golden Rudy.
  • Limoges (4 July): 11th National against 9,091 birds – Rogier Ingels.
  • Limoges (4 July): 1st National Zone against 2,996 birds – Rogier Ingels with a grandchild of Silver Olympic.

These results once again underline the quality, reliability, and breeding power of our families. Seeing our pigeons excel not only in our own loft but also in the lofts of fellow fanciers who have placed their confidence in our bloodlines is a source of tremendous pride.

With confidence and motivation, we now look ahead to the next challenge.

Ready for our next hot race!

Congratulations from Team Herbots!
