David Vermassen from Gavere wins 5 x TOP 2 National Zone in 2025 with descendants of "Black Hawk"

David Vermassen's top-tier colony from Gavere, East Flanders, run by his mother Nadine and Dennis Annaert, has been among the best for years. They also achieved several impressive victories in the 2025 season, and their overall performance was also excellent. Becoming 5th General Champion KBDB 2025 is a strong all-around colony.
They also won 1st + 2nd Nat (z) Bourges, 1st Nat (z) Tulle 1,183 old birds – 1st and 2nd Prov Bourges 321 old birds – 2nd Prov La Souterraine 1,737 pigeons – 2nd Nat (z) La Souterraine 1,330 pigeons, and 2nd Nat (z) La Souterraine 974 old birds. This is, of course, a brief summary of their outstanding season.
But once again, she stands among the best fanciers, and this with numerous descendants of the foundation sire "Black Hawk." The winner of 1st National Brive 6,842 p. and 2nd Nat (z) Montlucon 4,766 p. is the true common thread of this colony.
Thanks to the additional zonal victories this season, the total since 2020 stands at 10. That's certainly a very impressive number, but I'm sure they'll shine again in 2026 and will try to add another national victory to their impressive list of achievements.
