Eijerkamp Hans & Evert-Jan continue to dominate Dutch pigeon racing

Their results read like a fairytale...it's impossible to imagine how strong Team Eijerkamp is every week. Always ready to knock out the competition. In 2025, the power of the Eijerkamp pigeons knew no bounds, and they once again dominated Dutch pigeon racing.

One thing is crystal clear...the strategy that has allowed the Eijerkamp family to remain at the top of Dutch pigeon racing for decades is meticulously thought-out. A formula for success that requires not only the necessary investment but also the tireless efforts of a highly motivated team.

Team Eijerkamp had in 2025 again a superb racing season. Under the expert leadership of Oliver Sabol (Team Lotte) and Michal Jagielski together with Esther Noorderijk (Team H & EJ), the lofts delivered outstanding performances in national competitions.

Hans Eijerkamp built his first loft in 1955 and has been tirelessly dedicated to pigeon racing ever since. The first loft in his hometown of Zutphen is long gone; in 1970, the world-famous Ponderosa was put into use, and in 1977, Hans Eijerkamp purchased the expansive grounds, which he renamed "Greenfield Stud" in 1978. Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp's breeding pigeons are kept in separate breeding sections to prevent "foreign insemination." In a previous report, we highlighted the top breeding pair "Viton" x "Dochter Goed Grijs" and other successful original Leidemand pigeons, but that's obviously not the only top breeding pair housed in Brummen. The Heremans-Ceustermans pigeons, for example, have played a crucial role. Recently, we saw a video of Hans Eijerkamp admiring their national ace pigeon "Luka Modric" with great enthusiasm. In recent years, a touch of Willem de Bruijn has also been added to the Eijerkamp breed. Willem de Bruijn pigeons were purchased both directly and through other fanciers. One example is the purchase of "Geeloger" from Erik Limbourg. "Geeloger" was bred from two direct de Bruijn pigeons and became 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB All-Round in 2023.
