Falckenborg-Nijhof (Beltrum-Netherlands): 22 first prizes in 2025!!!

When they first appeared on the scene with their young birds in 2020, they immediately made their mark. Multiple teletext listings, an NPO victory. Marco Klein Falckenborg and Fons Nijhof immediately made their mark.
They did not come to pigeon racing to stand on the sidelines, as they proved again in 2021. That year, they won the 4th national ace pigeon Middle Distance, a 3rd place in the Middle Distance nominated and the 7th place in the best lofts NPO. Marco also brought solid experience from Brummen, where he worked at the top level for the Eijerkamp family. The warm bond with that region remains to this day.
In 2022, they achieved what many fanciers dream of their entire careers: 1st National Champion Middle Distance. For some, that would be the end of the road... but not for this driven duo. In 2023 and 2024, they proved that their success was by no means a coincidence. They made their mark in sprint, middle distance, and one-day long distance races: remarkable, because one-day long distance races were not their strongest point before. In 2025, the ultimate confirmation came: early arrivals in the one-day long distance and once again strong national rankings.
But what everyone remembers: 22 first prizes in one season!
The colony consists mainly of the Nijhof line (Ad Schaerlaeckens - Fr. Timmermans - Leideman Bros. - Dirk van den Bulck - Leo Heremans - H. ten Brincke), reinforced with pigeons from renowned lofts such as:
