Gert and Theo Weytjens (Zutendaal) win 1st prize from Bourges in “Zone C” against 2.519 old birds.

The national races started with a strong performance for Gert and Theo Weytjens. Since the top national pigeons were mainly located in the western part of the country, their focus was on achieving a top result in National Zone C - successfully so.

In the old birds category, they achieved 1st and 10th place against 2,519 pigeons. Remarkably, these performances were achieved by two nest sisters, who together have already won three national zone victories.

The yearlings also performed excellently, securing a fine 3rd place against 1,452 pigeons.
