Hendriks Jo & Florian (Nijswiller) A golden breeding loft with "Harry" and "Kleine Gerard" as basis

In the early years, Jo had Janssen pigeons via Wout Sleulders (Neunen) and this from all his toppers such as "Het Kanon", "De Generaal" and "Olympiade 08". Via uncle Thijs Vluggen (Gulpen) the "Kleine 273" arrived on the loft and the progeny of this topper was unique. His son "Popeye" was a super breeder and offspring is still found in today's pigeons. 
In 2008, Jo and Florian took the decision to fully gear the old pigeons' play to the one-day long distance races and therefore they made targeted purchases from well-known champions in Belgium and the Netherlands, but currently it is mainly the exceptional breeding lines of original Jan Hooymans and Gerard Koopman pigeons that form the basis. These lines were successfully strengthened with, among others, direct children from "King Kong" (NL09-1499901 - 5 x 1st prize) and a full sister of "Friendship" (Jan & Rik Hermans).

The 2022 season
Florian says: "We started the season with exactly counted 14 widowers. These are played on classical widowhood. Despite our limited racing team, we are very satisfied with the results with the following outliers:
