On the edition of the national race from Bourges, Norbert Sierens from Zwevegem delivered a top-class performance. His pigeon BE24-3073678 won 1st provincial in West Flanders among 1,377 yearlings. More impressively, it was also the fastest bird of all 2,444 old and yearling pigeons entered in the province.

Nationally, this result translated into a respectable 190th place against 11,056 yearlings. A fine achievement for a yearling that had only been trained as a youngster up to Clermont, but has clearly found his rhythm since.
