Winning a national race two weeks in a row… for the Poussart family, that dream has become reality. Last week they won 1st National Aurillac and produced a dream result with:
National 2,373 old birds: 2-3-4-5-158 etc.
National 3,516 yearlings: 1-20-55 etc.
With the exception of the national winner, the entire team that raced from Aurillac (489 km) last week was entered again for Bourges. Once again, they delivered an outstanding performance:

National 5,316 old birds: 1-5-10-14-19-96 etc.
National 9,070 yearlings: 3-5-9-10-16-24-28-29-32-70 etc.

Actions speak louder than words!

The national winner is the cock "René" (B24-1021047). He was entered as the 7th nominated pigeon and won with an average speed of 1,237 m/min. "René" (named after both René Mercier and René Vervloesem) is a magnificent cock with a beautifully pigmented eye set in an intelligent head. Exactly the kind of pigeon we all love to see. And it will probably not be their last.
