Raets Brothers and Kenny (Vliermaal) have been shining in the middle distance in recent weeks.

Last season, we already introduced this colony to you: Kenny Raets, who runs the colony here in Vliermaal, Limburg, together with his father and brother. Last season, they had the top hen “Golden Janneke,” who became 1st National Ace Pigeon Middle Distance Yearlings KBDB 2025. Now, in 2026, it is this family that is once again performing strongly at the top of the results, alongside the contribution of several pigeons from super colonies that are making waves here.

Now they have won 1st Provincial Sourdun against 1,073 old birds, and 3rd and 6th Provincial Sourdun against 2,065 yearlings. On the cancer race in Limburg, they achieved 2nd, 4th, and 5th place against 2,519 young pigeons at St. Soupplets, and last week they hit the jackpot with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place at Melun against 1,055 young pigeons (provincially this was 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 8th against more than 3,000 pigeons). Oh yes, this colony is on fire and is proving its talent once again.
