Herbots | Rigo Lenaers from Vliermaal is having a super season in 2025 with 49 regional victories

In Vliermaal, Limburg, Rigo Lenaers has had a superb season. He's achieved several regional victories and top results in the sprint, middle-distance, and extreme middle-distance races. He's increasingly becoming a man of work in the 100-600km races. Add to that the fact that he also came very close to a national victory in Bourges this year, and it's safe to say this colony is improving every year. Rigo bases his pigeons primarily on the line of his super breeder "Super 485" (grandson of Olympiade 003 Leo Heremans) crossed with pigeons from Frank Neven, Frans & Gert Rondags, and Ivo Renders. The latter comes mainly from Rene Vervoort pigeons and a son of "Olympic Rico" from the Vrancken-Berden colony, which he purchased from the Herbots breeding loft.

Super Breeder 485

So, we return to the stock pigeon "BE 13-5059485" Super 485. This is a 100% Leo Heremans – August Jansen cock and a grandson of "Olympiade 003." The world-famous line that has already produced so many successes is featured here again. Another important aspect of this breeder is that the bloodline of these pigeons crosses fantastically with other pigeons paired with it. For example, the cross with several pigeons from Frank Neven has been a hit in both lofts, and the pigeons of Frans and Gert Rondags are excellent partners for the line of "Super 485."
