Rino Verheye and Miranda from Aalbeke in West Flanders perform very strongly year after year, preferably in all disciplines. While they do prefer national races, they should be considered on the shorter races from Clermont. They are a true all-round team that can compete up to 700km. The team is largely based on the stock pair "Benny Hill" x "Emillia" and their superstar "Jommeke," who twice won 1st Provincial Ace Pigeon All Round KBDB. Rino and Miranda simply believe that the basket will determine which pigeons will end up in the breeding loft in the future, so racing is the key, and then showing their potential in the races of success is the goal. 

In 2025 they had another good season with 2nd Prov Ace Pigeon Allround Yearlings KBDB (3040457/24), 5th Prov Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB (3040495/24) and 20th Nat Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB (3040495/24). Superstar Jommeke

One of the standard bearers of this colony is “Jommeke” BE 16-3005665. He himself was a real wonder racer who belonged to the very best Ace pigeons 2 years in a row and was 2 x 1st Prov Ace Pigeon All Round in a row in 2016 and 2017 in the province of West Flanders. Few pigeons who have done that before and after him. Afterwards he was placed in breeding and several toppers came out. What luck and a good choice by Rino not to sell such a topper.
