Rudi Oliviers (Kumtich) wins 1st Provincial Marseille and 1st National Ace Pigeon Barcelona 2024-2025

Last weekend, Marseille was flown, the last race of the season from the Rhone Valley, and always a challenging one. This time, even considering the first pigeon barely reached 1000 m/min. The winner for the province of Flemish Brabant can be found in the lofts of Rudi Oliviers in Kumtich. His two-year-old cock, "Jac," won provincially and 5th nationally, making him the only pigeon in this region to finish in the top 20 nationally. A fantastic performance from this cock, ready for the tough work. Rudi had also delivered a top performance in Barcelona with his new superstar, "De Leon," a pigeon injured in 2022 that was quickly prepared for Perpignan, becoming his first pigeon there. He was therefore allowed to prepare for Barcelona and didn't disappoint, shining with two top 25 national finishes in both 2024 and 2025. This also makes him the best pigeon in our country over two years.

Rudi also won 9th National Bourges 17,189 yearlings and 14th National Agen 5,314 yearlings. Now the Agen team can head to Narbonne, and another team is being prepared for Libourne this coming weekend and Perpignan the following week.
