Ruud & Dolf Bakker (Zoelen) impress at national Issoudun

Ruud & Dolf Bakker from Zoelen once again showed their class in the national race from Issoudun on 5 July. In Sector 3, they not only clocked the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes against 9,521 pigeons, but also secured 5th, 6th and 8th place nationally against 32,812 pigeons.

Their first three pigeons arrived within one minute:

NL22-8307574 at 14:04:46, a full brother of their top performer Saraly, arrived at (1425.54 m/m)

NL24-8275399 at 14:04:49 (1425.37 m/m)

NL23-9172987 at 14:05:40 (1422.53 m/m)

The fourth pigeon, NL22-8307466 arrived at 14:10:12 with a speed of 1407.53 m/m. 

It is striking that these four leading pigeons are all grandchildren of their top breeder Germiny, which once again underlines his value as a stock pigeon.

The list of results is impressive:

Ruud & Dolf Bakker proved they were in great form a week earlier, on 28 June, during the race from Pont St. Maxence (354 km). In Section 7, they achieved an impressive series against 3,714 pigeons:

The young guard also made their mark last weekend. In the first joint young bird race in Section 7 from Duffel (112 km) against 9,307 pigeons, they put on a real show:

• 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-24-25-39-42-44-46-47-64-68-71-82-83-87-96 enz.

With such performances, the season promises to be a great one for the men from Zoelen.
