Sabrina Brugmans from Halen shines with 1st and 2nd Nat (z) Chateauroux 1,140 old birds

In Limburg, Halen was again the place to be last weekend, the colony of Sabrina Brugmans was again where they have been for so long. From Chateauroux they first clocked their super hen “Tess” and a few seconds later it was “Britt”'s turn. For Stephan it might have been better the other way around because “Britt” is still in the running for National Ace Pigeon longer middle distance KBDB 2023, but you cannot manipulate the arrivals and first is first. Of course “Tess” deserves this victory because she also won Chateauroux Provincial as a yearling in 2021. These are 2 hens when you look at the palmares that can go to war. In addition to Chateauroux, it was also the special flight from Orléans for the province of Limburg. A first real test for the youngsters after they flew the tough Melun of 3 weeks ago, but they passed this with flying colors and with 3 pigeons in the top 5 and 6 pigeons per 100, the group seems just ready for the national races that are coming. Whether we ever doubted this, I don't think so. Good fanciers can also get hit just like everyone else, but try to get back up and fight it all the faster. The train is therefore already on the rails for even more beautiful things in the coming weeks. It is certain that Bourges will be an exciting race for many colonies in the battle for the national ace pigeons. But tough competition is good for everyone and only makes the Belgian pigeon better. Here in Halen they are already ready for it.
