Sente – Creten (Herent) win 1st Provincial Agen 700 yearlings

On the international flight from Agen, the colony of Sente – Creten from the Flemish Brabant Herent was allowed to triumph in the yearlings. This hen is also currently 2nd International hens, which is a fantastic achievement.

System

They play here with a team of 20 widowers on the day long distance and then a separate loft for the flights closer by. We then play the hens on the nest with the aim of always basketing their flights after 10 to 12 days of brooding.

The hens train hard every day with 1h15 and the last 3 to 4 days before basketing we take them away to 35 to 40km ourselves.

In terms of nutrition, we use Rui, Kweek en Rust from Vanrobaeys for the season. During the season itself we play with 39 Flight Exclusive, 12 Super Special Sport Rui and 182 Premium Breeding from Vanrobaeys in combination with barley, Super Recup and Breeding from Anthoons. We really feed them with Turbo Vanrobaeys with extra hemp seed and Premium power Breeding the last 3 days as much as they want. Minerals are refreshed 3x per week and egg food is also never far away during the season.

As by-products we also use Avidres - Giachol alternated with Gentochol - Twister of Oil - Amino strike (these when the pigeons are prepared for a flight). Since this year we also use Turbo pigeon in the drinking water for the last 3-4 days before basketing and in extreme heat we use electrolytes from Giantel.

The winning hen from Agen flew 1 x Momignies, 3x Soissons, Melun, Toury, Soissons, Bourges, Soissons, 2x Momignies and then Agen as preparation. They never stayed home and the moment they had to lay and brood, no risks were taken and the pigeons flew shorter flights with 1 night in the basket.
