Targeted investments propelled the German champion loft "Exclusive Pigeon" to the top.

The successful team "Exclusive Pigeon" consists of Andreas Stemmer and Jens Taddigs, both in their forties. Just five years ago, they decided to join forces and invest together in the very best that modern pigeon racing has to offer. Since winners are born of winners, they were particularly keen to invest in pigeons with proven, multi-generational winning genes. Both Andreas and Jens want to be very focused in building their breeding loft, where all breeding pairs have individual boxes to ensure the parentage of the young pigeons bred.

Thanks to sound advice from living legend Leo Heremans, they decided to invest specifically in pigeons from, among others, Dirk Van den Bulck, through Flanders Collection. Thanks to the excellent mediation of Franz Josef Irmer, they were able to acquire "Chief," a direct son of the legendary "Kittel." Through Frans Josef, a son of "Greipel," "Perfect," also ended up in the breeding loft of "Exclusive Pigeon."

And it didn't stop there. The golden Leo Heremans breed was purchased through "Brother Bolt," and via Herbots Gebroeders, the successful breeding line of "Olympic Rico" joined the breeding loft. A son of "Porsche 911" (PEC) also provided a boost to the breeding loft. Recently, direct Leideman pigeons and the lines of "Best Kittel," "Blue Best Kittel," and "Grizzle Best Kittel" also joined the breeding loft.

And the investments are paying off, as the results more than prove:

In 2025, 387 pigeons were basketed and won – predominantly with yearlings – 221 prizes: 3 x 1st prize RV yearlings 1 x 1st prize RV old birds

But unfortunately this “fairy tale” comes to an end. Jens and Andreas' friendship is very close, but due to health issues (Jens was diagnosed with pigeon lung), all the pigeons Jens and Andreas purchased together are being auctioned. The name "Exclusive Pigeon" remains, and Andreas continues to pursue his beloved hobby of pigeon racing with the same enthusiasm.

This unfortunate incident brings some truly unique pigeons to the auction table. A unique opportunity to acquire the very best.
