The demanding middle-distance races started last week, and as is our annual custom, we begin with Vierzon. This is an interprovincial race where more than 10,000 pigeons entered the lineup once again. The fastest pigeon in the province of Flemish Brabant can be found at the lofts of Davy Tournelle – Hua Feng in Rummen, East Brabant. He also clocked silver in both the old birds and the yearlings, so the hens have shown their form.
Over the past few weeks, they flew Momignies twice, Soissons twice, Melun, Toury, and now Vierzon. The cocks followed the same program, except that they flew Soissons last week in preparation for the upcoming national races.
