Van der Maelen Sonia from Aspelare wins 1st Provincial at Issoudun

Sonia Van der Maelen from Aspelare achieved victory in the province of East Flanders in the race from Issoudun, competing against 290 old birds. Her hen “Nafina” BE-25-4039425 also finished 11th National against 1,227 birds.

After winning the 1st Provincial prize at Issoudun with the old birds, the young birds also achieved another outstanding result this weekend.

Week after week, the young birds compete from Noyon (156 km), with an international provincial liberation, and continue to achieve excellent results. They have already won the 1st prize 6 times.

This week, they once again achieved impressive results, despite spending an extra day in the basket as the race was postponed until Monday:
