Herbots | Vrancken – Berden from Kuringen and his golden breeding lines “Super Toon” and “White Paulien”

Anyone who has followed the national sprint championships with young pigeons in recent years will have come across the top-tier Vrancken-Berden colony from Kuringen in Limburg. Since 2017, they have won four Olympiad Pigeon titles with young pigeons and several National Ace Pigeon titles, making them one of the best young pigeon colonies in the country. Despite some health issues, he was still among the best lofts in Limburg in 2025. Despite this, he himself says that if he had been completely healthy, the pigeons would undoubtedly have flown even better.

But the first prize winners and second ace pigeons in the sprint in the Central Limburg region still add some impressive achievements. Especially considering that he has two new showpieces in his loft: "Super Toon" and "White Paulien." Their son, "White Toon," became 7th National Ace Pigeon Sprint Young Birds KBDB in 2024, and in 2025, it was "498/25" who won another first prize against 942 pigeons and three regional top 10 finishes. The best yearling was also "White Toon 36," a top-class pigeon bred from "Super Toon" x "Sister Rico." He has an impressive palmares, winning three pure first prizes. In just two years, "Super Toon" has proven that he is continuing his super genes with two different hens. Coincidentally, these are sisters of Olympic Rico, but the lineage of old progenitor "Gek" (the lineage of "Olympic Rico") has always been a success story here.

Eric also discovered a new pair in 2025: a son of "Mormelke Marie," who became 4th National Ace Pigeon Middle Distance KBDB, paired with a granddaughter of "Olympic Rico." In 2025, they bred two fantastic young pigeons, both of which won a regional victory, one of which became 1st Ace Pigeon in Central Limburg. The mother had previously also produced a top pigeon in 2023, which ranked among the national ace pigeons for young birds.

The wonder couple “White Man” x “New Niki”

You sometimes come across something special in your pigeon racing career, so you can consider the flying career of “White Man” to be fantastic. He flew at a very high level for 2 years with the very best speed pigeons that can be found in Belgium and afterwards formed a fantastic breeding couple with “New Niki”.

In just 4 seasons she bred 3 National Ace pigeons among the young pigeons, which were among the best 5!!! heard at national level. We first had “Olympic Rico” who became 1st National Ace Pigeon speed KBDB 2020 and 1st Olympiad Pigeon Young pigeons and also 1st World Best Pigeon FCI on speed against old, yearling and young pigeons. In 2022 it was the turn of “Miss White”, she became 4th National Ace Pigeon speed young pigeons KBDB and this season it was the turn of “White Paulien”, who became 5th National Ace Pigeon speed young pigeons KBDB.

Classy Super Toon

This super pigeon was 2nd National Ace Pigeon Young Birds KBDB 2023 and 2nd Olympiad Pigeon Cat. F Maastricht 2024 as a young bird.

His sire is the old stock sire "Gek" of Antoon Neven, who also sired the 2nd Olympiad Pigeon Cat. F Poland 2019 and several other super pigeons. This cross with the line of "Olympic Rico" is the key to his success.
