Vrancken – Berden (Kuringen) starts with 1-2-3 S.Prov. Mettet 2,178 old and yearling pigeons thanks to the breeding line of “Olympic Rico”

The season has kicked off; thanks to the beautiful weather last week, many of us are eager to get started. In Limburg, a good number of pigeons already entered the first race from Mettet, and the top colony of Vrancken – Berden from Kuringen has gotten off to a very fine start. They won 1-2-3 S.Prov. Mettet against 2,178 old and yearling pigeons.

The first pigeon is 5053498-25, a son of the best pair at the moment. He also won 1st S.Prov. Chimay last year against 942 pigeons. His father is “Super Toon”, 2nd National Ace Pigeon Sprint Young Birds KBDB 2023 and 2nd Olympiad Pigeon Cat.F Maastricht 2024, paired with “White Paulien”, 3rd World Best Pigeon Young Birds Sprint 2023 and 5th National Ace Pigeon Sprint Young Birds KBDB 2023, and also a full sister of the wonder cock “Olympic Rico”.

The second pigeon is 5053469-25, and this cock is also a grandson of “Olympic Rico”.

The 3rd pigeon is 5053474-25, who was already 1st Semi-Provincial Ace Pigeon Young Birds Central Limburg last year and is therefore off to a great start as well. His father is a son of “Mormelke Marie”, 4th National Ace Pigeon Middle Distance Young Birds KBDB 2020, and his mother is a granddaughter of the wonder cock “Olympic Rico”.
