Outstanding 1-2-3 Bierges against 2.371 pigeons
Due to the hot weather, the short-distance race was shortened to Bierges, while the NPO race from Vierzon was cancelled. Perhaps this was the wrong decision, as the race from Bierges turned out to be a perfect race for all pigeons under ideal conditions, resulting once again in an amazing performance by both Eijerkamp teams.
In the racing area, competing against 2,371 pigeons, the team of Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp once again dominated by winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize. Three pigeons arrived together, with 'Iceman Hans' taking the victory. This grandson of Olympic Hans was clocked just a few seconds ahead of 'Miley' and 'Golden Magic', the outstanding granddaughter of 'Nieuwe Olympiade', who once again secured an early top prize.
In Federation South 1, the team in Brummen, coached by Michal, won 1-2-3 against 1,092 pigeons. Meanwhile, in Federation South 2, the Eijerkamp-Paalman team achieved an impressive1-2-3-4-5 against 1,279 pigeons, with 'Rienke', a granddaughter of the legendary Euro, taking the victory.
